The Licking County Foundation approved $131,880 in grants from donor advised and community charitable funds in the last quarter of 2016 to support 49 nonprofit organizations and charitable causes. Donor advised funds are simple, flexible, convenient and powerful philanthropic vehicles that allow donors—individuals, families, businesses or groups—to support a variety of charitable causes and make a difference in the community in partnership with the Foundation. About Opening a Donor Advised Fund…Making a Difference
Simplify your charitable giving and make a difference! A donor advised fund allows individuals, families, businesses or groups to streamline their charitable giving and partner with the Licking County Foundation to realize their philanthropic goals. By opening a donor advised fund, you can centralize all of your charitable activities through one expertly-managed and cost-effective charitable vehicle. Your gift qualifies for an immediate tax deduction and you can take your time deciding which organizations to recommend for grants. You can also work with Foundation staff to identify organizations addressing the causes you care about most. We’ll take care of all of the administrative details. A donor advised fund may be opened with gifts starting at $1,000. A variety of assets may be used to establish or add to a donor advised fund. Ready to get started?
