Licking County Foundation announced its newly-elected slate of board members and officers for 2017. Elected as officers are Jeff Cox, Chairman (Edward Jones); Eschol Curl, Vice Chairman (retired State Farm); and Cynthia Menzer, Secretary & Treasurer (White Oak Partners). Additional members continuing to serve on the Licking County Foundation’s Governing Committee are: Mike Cantlin (community volunteer), Kim Coplin (Denison University), Molly Ingold (retired Hospice of Central Ohio), Michael Kennedy (The Longaberger Company), Tim Lehman (Park National Bank), Janine Mortellaro (Mortellaro McDonald’s), Jeanetta Pyle (community volunteer), Park Shai (Shai Commercial Real Estate Ltd.), Noble Snow (Wilson, Shannon & Snow, Inc.), and Mike Whitehead (Reese, Pyle, Drake & Meyer, PLL).
Each Governing Committee member serves without compensation and ensures that each gift entrusted to the Licking County Foundation is used to enhance this area’s quality of life. Representing a wide range of experiences and perspectives, these highly-regarded volunteers also assess the charitable needs of the community, distribute grants in harmony with those needs and the expressed desires of donors, and provide guidance and expertise to further the Foundation’s mission. Director Connie Hawk said, “These board members are thoughtful and committed community leaders who are dedicated to improving lives in Licking County and advocating for philanthropy.”
