The Licking County Foundation approved $185,441 in grants from donor advised and community charitable funds in the second quarter of 2017 support 32 nonprofit organizations and charitable causes. Donor advised funds are simple, flexible, convenient and powerful philanthropic vehicles that allow donors—individuals, families, businesses or groups—to support a variety of charitable causes and make a difference in the community in partnership with the Foundation. These 35 grants were distributed at the suggestion of caring donors to the following organizations:
