Megan Evans, Donor Services Officer
Megan Evans joined the Licking County Foundation in November 2013, currently in the position of Donor Services Officer. She is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and enhancing relationships with donors, including the development of new programs, services, communications materials and outreach.
Prior to her tenure at the Foundation, she worked at Hospice of Central Ohio for two years in administration and human resources. Before joining Hospice, Megan served two years as an AmeriCorps Member in the role of External Affairs Project Leader with City Year Miami in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
In the community, she serves on the board of the Licking County Soil and Water Conservation District, volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a member of Young Leaders of Licking County and Newark Rotary. Megan lives in Newark with her dog Henry. She enjoys backpacking, whitewater rafting, travel, board games and trying new restaurants.
Megan said, “I love that the mission of the Foundation is to improve the life of Licking County citizens. Day to day, it’s a really inspiring job. Whether it be working with a generous donor to help connect them to a cause they are passionate about or collaborating with community nonprofits that are doing important work to address some of the biggest issues facing our community, I’m constantly coming into contact with other people who are just trying to make our community a better place, and that is inspiring!”
