LCF Announces Board Members and Officers for 2018

Licking County Foundation announced its board members and officers for 2018. Elected as officers are Eschol Curl, Chairman (retired State Farm); Cynthia Menzer, Vice Chairman (White Oak Partners); and Noble Snow, Secretary & Treasurer (Wilson, Shannon & Snow, Inc.). Additional members continuing to serve on the Licking County Foundation’s Governing Committee are: Mike Cantlin (community volunteer), Kim Coplin (Denison University), Molly Ingold (retired Hospice of Central Ohio), Michael Kennedy (The Longaberger Company), Tim Lehman (Park National Bank), Janine Mortellaro (Mortellaro McDonald’s), Jeanetta Pyle (community volunteer), Park Shai (Shai Commercial Real Estate Ltd.), and Mike Whitehead (Reese, Pyle, Drake & Meyer, PLL).

New members in 2018 include Ryan Mills (Granville Investment Group), and Robert O’Neill (Southgate Corporation). Ryan Mills, Vice President and Financial Advisor at The Granville Investment Group, Inc., joined the company in 2012 after working in the banking industry for nearly a decade. Recognized as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and as a Wealth Management Specialist at Raymond James Financial Services, he works closely with families, small businesses, nonprofits and qualified retirement plans. An engaged community member, Ryan is past chair of the board of directors for Hospice of Central Ohio and serves on the executive committee for the board of Ohio’s Hospice. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Granville and volunteers in many capacities for his alma mater, Denison University. Rob O’Neill is President of Southgate Corporation, a local real estate and land development company based in Newark specializing in commercial and industrial properties. Over the past 29 years with Southgate, Rob has been involved with numerous real estate development projects throughout Licking County. He serves as a Director of Park National Bank and Park National Bank Corporation and currently serves on the boards of GROW Licking County, the Newark Sport and Event Commission, Kendal at Granville, and the Newark Campus Development Fund.

Each Governing Committee member serves without compensation and ensures that each gift entrusted to the Licking County Foundation is used to enhance this area’s quality of life. Representing a wide range of experiences and perspectives, these highly-regarded volunteers also assess the charitable needs of the community, distribute grants in harmony with those needs and the expressed desires of donors, and provide guidance and expertise to further the Foundation’s mission. Director Connie Hawk said, “These board members are thoughtful and committed community leaders who are dedicated to improving lives in Licking County and advocating for philanthropy.”
