The Intel Foundry Scholarship for Advanced Manufacturing awards up to 15 scholarships through the Licking County Foundation to students pursuing education relevant to the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This pilot program opens November 1, 2024.

Eligible programs include but are not limited to:

  • One-year Semiconductor Certificate
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology AAS
  • Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology AAS
  • Mechatronics/Robotics/Automation Engineering Technology AAS
  • Microelectronics Associate degree
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology AAS
  • Chemistry or Agricultural Sciences Associate degree
  • Equipment Maintenance-related Associate degree
  • Other relevant STEM degrees, as approved (excludes medical/nursing, veterinary, and computer science software fields)

Scholarship recipients must:

  • Be an Ohio resident (preference given to Licking County residents)
  • Have graduated from high school (graduating HS seniors may apply but not receive until after graduated)
  • Be currently enrolled full-time or plan to enroll for Spring 2025 (preference given to currently enrolled students for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025)
  • Be a United States (U.S.) citizen, or permanent resident and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
